The Learning Resource Center of Matanuska-Susitna College is looking for a test proctor to administer paper and computer-based tests.  The test proctor position is part-time, temporary and the schedule may vary depending on department needs. Hours will range between 15-29 per week. Days of the week coverage is needed are Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, & occasionally evenings or weekends (depending on needs of campus testing). 

To thrive in this role, applicants must be able to maintain student confidentiality and the security of all test documents. Successful applicants must also possess a general knowledge of computer processes and internet browsers, the ability to follow directions and strict proctoring protocols, attention to detail, excellent oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work with students from diverse populations. Knowledge of Banner is preferred.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required
Previous work experience with testing or in a college setting is preferred

Candidates cannot be a current student of the University of Alaska

Position Details:

This position is located at the  Matanuska-Susitna College in Palmer, Alaska. This is a part-time, non-exempt, temporary position. New hires will be placed on the  UA Temporary Staff Salary, Grade 76.  The anticipated start date for this position is middle of August, 2025 .

This is a pooled position, open until filled.
