About the role

We’re looking for a senior software engineer with strong experience in antibot technolgies to drive the evolution of our AI agents. As Senior Antibot Engineer, you’ll be responsible for devising the strategy for the interaction patterns of our AI agents within web flows. You’ll be implementing those strategies in robust architectures capable of dynamically adapting to the fast changing pace of the antibot technologies.

This is a demanding, high-impact role . You’ll be shipping code, performing tests, designing experiments, and setting our antibot strategy all at the same time. You’ll be reporting to the CTO. If you’re excited by the idea of coding, reviewing experiment runs, and designing new evasion techniques - you’ll thrive here. You’ll also be sharing your knowledge with colleagues to bring their antibot skills to a level of excellence.

What you'll do

• Architect large-scale proxy-rotation solutions (residential, datacenter) and smart routing strategies.
• Integrate CAPTCHA-solving services, machine-learning solvers, and dynamic challenge negotiation.
• Produce whitepapers, run internal workshops, and mentor junior engineers on anti-bot best practices.
• Implement real-time behavioral analytics, anomaly detection, and fingerprinting pipelines.
• Lead internal red-team exercises: develop and run sophisticated scrapers that bypass Cloudflare, DataDome, Akamai, etc.

What you'll bring

• 7+ years in software engineering with 3+ years focused on anti-bot, WAF/CDN evasion, or web scraping at scale.
• Expert in internals, WebSocket, TLS/SSL, and browser fingerprinting vectors.
• Proficient with headless-browser frameworks (Selenium, Puppeteer, Playwright) and stealth evasion techniques.
• Deep hands-on experience bypassing Cloudflare, DataDome, Akamai, PerimeterX, etc.
• Strong background in proxy architectures, rotating residential IPs, and rate-limiting strategies.
• Familiarity with CAPTCHA types (reCAPTCHA v2/v3, hCaptcha, FunCaptcha) and solving pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of Java.
• Experience with Kafka, Redis, Elasticsearch for telemetry and analytics ingestion.
• Comfortable containerizing applications (Docker, Kubernetes) and deploying on cloud platforms.
• Strong analytical mindset and investigative curiosity.
• Excellent communication—able to distill technical findings for both engineering and executive audiences.
• Familiarity with ML-based bot detection techniques (behavioral clustering, anomaly detection).

Bonus points for

• Knowledge of Python.
• Comfort working in fast-paced, exciting startup environments.
• Publications or talks at security conferences on scraping or evasion.
• Open-source contributions to scraping libraries or anti-bot detection tools.
