Catholic Central High School is looking to hire a Part-Time (60%) Substitute School Counselor for August/September during the 25-26 school year. Catholic Central is a private, Catholic, college preparatory high school in South East Wisconsin. Our 31 dedicated staff serve 116 amazing students. Our ideal candidate is an energetic, dedicated and qualified individual to serve as our School Counselor. He or she will maintain a comprehensive school counseling program which meets the needs of students in grades 9 -12 as outlined in the Wisconsin Comprehensive School Counseling Program. The School Counselor promotes and enhances academic, personal, social, and career development of all students; will be sensitive to students’ emotional welfare, communicate clearly with families and fellow staff members; and implement programs promoting student success within and outside of the classroom
Qualifications:
1. Masters in Counseling, Educational Psychology (or other related fields) from an accredited institute of higher education.
2. Candidate must be WI DPI certified as a School Counselor. School Counselor certification (7054) is required.
3. Ability to effectively communicate with students, parents and teaching colleagues.
4. Demonstrates high standards of personal and professional integrity.
