Job Title: Monitoring Technician

Location : Norfolk, VA 23502 (Local candidates only – hybrid after training)

Duration : 12 Months (W2 Contract)

Certifications Preferred (Any ONE of the following):

• CCT (Certified Cardiographic Technician)
• CRAT (Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician)
• RN (Registered Nurse)
• EMT/Paramedic with active ACLS certification

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and analyze ECG transmissions at the Cardiac Outpatient Telemetry Center
• Interpret ECG data and generate clinical reports
• Review ECGs for abnormalities and escalate as per protocols
• Maintain clinical accuracy and quality in ECG interpretation
• Communicate with patients and physicians when needed
• Support EMS activation processes as required
• Follow WE CARE customer service standards
• Perform all duties in compliance with internal policies and procedures

Requirements :

Education & Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 6 months of relevant experience
• Active certification as CCT, CRAT, RN, or EMT/Paramedic with ACLS

Technical Skills:

• Strong computer proficiency is mandatory
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams)
• Familiarity with Google Classroom is a plus
• Ability to train in a remote/online environment

Soft Skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work in a high-paced call center environment
• Positive team-player attitude and strong customer service focus

Training & Hybrid Details:

• Training Duration : 3–4 weeks (onsite, day shift only)
• Ramp-Up Period : 12 weeks onsite
• Post-Ramp : Eligible for hybrid schedule

• 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• 10:00 AM – 8:30 PM
• 11:00 AM – 9:30 PM
• 6:00 PM – 4:30 AM
• 11:00 PM – 9:30 AM

5/8s Schedule:

• 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM
• 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM
• 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• 9:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
