Known for delivering high-quality work across commercial and residential projects throughout NYC, the firm is looking to expand its market presence and client base.

Position Overview

We're looking for a results-driven, relationship-focused Business Development & Sales professional with proven experience in the NYC construction sector. The ideal candidate will bring a solid book of business and strong industry relationships to help grow our footprint with leading general contractors and developers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with general contractors, developers, and construction managers in NYC.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to grow revenue and client base.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with project managers, procurement teams, and key decision-makers.
  • Attend networking events, industry meetups, and trade shows to promote the company's services.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, pipeline opportunities, and potential risks.
  • Prepare proposals, pricing, and bid submissions with a focus on value and competitiveness.
  • Coordinate closely with internal teams to ensure feasibility and alignment on pricing and project scope.
  • Maintain a detailed pipeline of prospects and report regularly on activity and outcomes.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Demonstrated success in sales or business development roles within the construction industry-ideally in drywall, framing, or subcontracting.
  • Strong network within NYC's construction market is highly desirable.
  • Skilled negotiator with the ability to close high-value contracts.
  • Familiarity with NYC's bidding processes and industry regulations.
  • Self-starter with excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, Excel, and presentation tools preferred.
