Core Responsibilities:
  • Test, diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
  • Complete vehicles inspections, thoroughly documenting inspection findings and recommended maintenance or repairs.
  • Notify the Service Advisor of additional repairs or services needed, providing an estimate of the time required for other repairs, so they may communicate vehicle needs to the customer.
  • Perform work specified on the repair order per dealership processes.
  • Complete warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
  • Technical and mechanical expertise: A minimum of 3 years of experience performing vehicle inspections, maintenance, repairs and diagnostics required.
  • Certifications: BMW certifications are highly favorable; ASE certifications are a plus!
  • Analytical skills: Ability to troubleshoot and find solutions for complex vehicle problems.
  • Thoroughness: Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, as well as strong follow up skills.
  • Collaboration: Contributes to a team-oriented environment by communicating effectively and demonstrating a positive attitude.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
Hours and Work Environment: Our Service Department is open Monday – Friday 7am – 6pm and Saturday 8am – 5pm. We are looking for candidates with flexible availability during the Service Department’s business hours. We offer a 5-day workweek to support work-life balance.
